Application Examples
Suitable for driving DDSM series hub motors and obtaining feedback information. The host controller can control hub motors by sending JSON commands and receiving feedback in JSON format, making secondary development easier. Multiple communication methods simplify integration into robotics projects, ideal for controlling multiple hub motors.
Wired Control Mode
Uses a 115200 baud rate to communicate with the ESP32 on the driver board. Supports sending JSON commands to set up and control hub motors and receiving feedback in JSON format. A Python demo is available for host control of hub motors.
Wireless Control Mode
The DDSM Driver HAT automatically creates a hotspot upon powering on, allowing users to connect and control the driver board via mobile phones, tablets, and PCs with the cross-platform web application. Supports sending JSON commands to the DDSM Driver HAT via the web application.
Suitable for Raspberry Pi 5 / 4B
Supports powering the Raspberry Pi and communication through the GPIO UART interface, neat cable management.
ESP32 Controller, Extensive Resources
Easy secondary development with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, as well as ESP-NOW support for remote control and hub motor debugging.
