Product Description

The DFRobot UART Capacitive Fingerprint Sensor (FPC Connector, 80 Fingerprints) is a fully integrated fingerprint sensor module for capturing, processing, storing, and matching fingerprint data. It combines a capacitive semiconductor sensing element with a high-performance processor and the built-in IDfinger6.0 algorithm, allowing fingerprint recognition to be executed directly inside the module.

Communication is provided through a UART interface. When connected to a suitable host controller, such as a microcontroller using an available library, the module supports functions including fingerprint enrollment, deletion, and matching. Its compact form factor with FPC connection makes it suitable for embedded systems where installation space is limited and a compact biometric interface is required.
