Product Description

The DFRobot Fermion: MEMS Microphone Module - S15OT421(Breakout) is a compact analog MEMS microphone module intended for capturing speech and general acoustic signals. It is designed for direct use with 3.3V and 5V microcontroller platforms and provides an analog output that can be sampled with an ADC.

The integrated amplifier has a gain of 66. When no sound is detected, the output voltage is approximately 1.5V. During speech or other acoustic activity, the waveform can be acquired by ADC sampling. The small board size makes the module suitable for space-constrained embedded designs and prototyping tasks.
