Product Description

The DFRobot Fermion: Compact Low-Power 6DOF IMU Sensor for Embedded Motion Sensing (16x16mm, I2C, Breakout) SEN0693 is a compact IMU/AHRS sensor for embedded motion sensing and sensor evaluation. It is based on the Bosch BMI323 and integrates a 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope for measuring acceleration, angular velocity, tilt, vibration, and motion changes.

With output data rates up to 6400 Hz, configurable measurement ranges, a 2048-byte FIFO, and multiple operating modes, this breakout is suitable for space-constrained and low-power designs. The 16 x 16 mm form factor supports integration into wearables, compact controllers, and battery-powered devices. The sensor also provides hardware motion events such as step, tap, tilt, free-fall, and activity detection, along with two programmable interrupt pins for event-driven host interaction.
