Product Description

The DFRobot Gravity: HCL Sensor (Calibrated, I2C & UART, 0-10ppm) is an electrochemical gas sensor module for hydrogen chloride detection in a 0 to 10 ppm range. The module is supplied factory calibrated and is intended for fast integration into industrial safety monitoring, underground inspection, and environmental monitoring systems.

The signal conditioning stage provides multiple interfaces: analog voltage, I2C, and UART. This allows integration into simple microcontroller-based designs as well as networked monitoring equipment and IoT data collection platforms. An onboard temperature compensation algorithm supports stable readings under changing environmental conditions. According to the source data, up to 32 modifiable I2C addresses are supported, making the module suitable for scalable multi-sensor arrays.

The electrochemical probe is designed for reliable detection of low hydrogen chloride concentrations. A stated service life of more than two years in air supports use in continuous monitoring applications. The Gravity interface simplifies use with platforms such as Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
