Product Description

The cable is an easy way to connect to your microcontroller/Raspberry Pi/WiFi router serial console port. Inside the big USB plug is a USB to Serial conversion chip PL2303HX and at the end of the cable are four wires out of the USB port. The power pin provides the 5V @ 500mA direct from the USB port and the RX/TX pins are 3.3V level for interfacing with the most common 3.3V logic level chipsets.

Also handy for hacking WiFi routers to install alternate OS's, or nearly any other 3.3V logic serial port. This is easier to use than an FTDI cable in many cases because the wires are separated. Note that we call this a "TTL cable" (since that's what they're called) but technically it's CMOS logic.

This cable is not good for Arduino re-programming such as a Boarduino, MENTA, Monochron, etc. because it does not have the DTR/RTS wire necessary for initiating the bootloader reboot sequence. For that we suggest an FTDI cable or FTDI friend.

il suffit de dessouder le fil rouge et le connecter au trou libre pour avoir du 3.3 V.
Jai soudé la tole de la prise USB pour une meilleur resistance mécanique.

Wichtiges Manko : Windows 10 Treiber

Das ist ein standard kabel, ist ja alles schön und gut. Meine Probleme waren mit dem Treiber. Eine klare botschaft zu was klappt und was nicht klappt auf dieser seite wäre super.

Folgt man dem Treiber link hier auf der produktseite und läd den PL2303 treiber herunter findet man dass für die HX serie keine neuen treiber und kein support geliefert werden.

So wollte ich nach vielen versuchen endlich das produkt zurückgeben und ein Kabel mit PL2303 TA chip einkaufen. Doch dann in einem letzten versuch von das kann doch nicht so schwer sein habe ich bei adafruit einen link zu einem alten treiber entdeckt der es tut.
Adafruit ist einfach ein super shop wegen dem gelieferten support.

Für windows 10 treiber also hier weiterlesen, bei mir klappt es nun endlich :
