The DFRobot Gravity: BME688 AI Environmental Sensor (VOC, Temperature, Humidity, Pressure) is a compact multi-parameter environmental sensor module built around the Bosch BME688. It combines volatile organic compound (VOC), temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure sensing in a single MEMS device. With both I2C and SPI support, the module can be integrated into microcontroller, embedded, and data acquisition systems.

In addition to standard environmental sensing, the BME688 can be used as a data source for AI-based gas analysis. In combination with Bosch BME AI-Studio and the BSEC2 library, application-specific gas profiles can be trained and evaluated. This makes the module suitable for both general environmental monitoring and extended air-quality analysis tasks.

The compact form factor supports use in space-constrained designs and portable instruments. Integrating several measured parameters into one module reduces system complexity when multiple ambient values must be captured by a single sensing unit.
