Product Description

The DFRobot Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Playback Module (Bluetooth 4.0) is a compact Bluetooth audio receiver module for audio playback from Bluetooth, USB flash storage, and TF card media. It operates from a 5 VDC supply via Micro-USB and is intended for audio retrofits and compact embedded playback applications.

The module supports decoding of MP3, WMA, WAV, and lossless FLAC audio formats. A pre-amplified output allows direct connection of headphones or a 3 W speaker. An active power amplifier can also be added for use with an external loudspeaker. Playback is controlled by on-board buttons, and an integrated equalizer is provided for selectable sound modes. In the updated version, a reserved MIC port is available and can be used for recording or calling when a Bluetooth connection is active. The board also supports IR remote control operation.
