Product Description

Modbus RTU Analog Input 8CH (B) is an industrial standard analog acquisition module, supports multiple ranges and 8-ch simultaneous acquisition. Adopts Modbus RTU protocol with built-in protection circuits such as power isolation, magnetical isolation, resettable fuse, and TVS.

Configurable device address (1~255), multi devices can be cascaded on RS485 bus
Onboard voltage regulator, supports 7~36V wide range power supply
Onboard unibody power supply isolation, provides stable isolated voltage, needs no extra power supply for the isolated terminal
Onboard unibody magnetical isolation, allows signal isolation, high reliability, strong anti-interference
Onboard resettable fuse and TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor), effectively suppresses surge voltage and transient spike voltage in the circuit, provides over-current/over-voltage proof, lightningproof & anti-electrostatic
Supports 12-bit high-precision acquisition with multiple range input modes, supports single-ended/differential input, supports voltage and current simultaneous acquisition
Adopts high-precision resistors and zero-drift high-precision operational amplifier for more accurate data acquisition

Guter Baustein für schnelle Entwicklung

Mit diesem Modul kann man bis zu 8 Spannungen von 0-10V via MODBUS abfragen. MODBUS klingt erstmal kompliziert, ist aber nur ein Protokoll, welches über RS485 übertragen wird. Die im Herstellerwiki zur Verfügung gestellten Beispiele helfen dabei, mit Python, Arduino oder Raspberry-Pi das Modul abzufragen.

Ideal um eine Testbench für eine SPS (z.B. Arduino Opta) zu erstellen. Bei meinen Tests hat der Eingang auch 24V vertragen, auch wenn sich der Wert dann nur bei 10V befand (OpAmp in Sättingung).

Intern ist das Modul recht sauber aufgebaut. Die RS485 Schnittstelle ist mittels DC-DC Konverter und Isolator vom Rest getrennt.
Das Verhältnis der Widerstände ist im Wiki dokumentiert. Es befinden sich auch Schutzdioden an jedem Eingang um vor Überspannung zu schützen.
Dahinter folgt ein OpAmp und ein STM32. Daneben noch ein 7805 Spannungswandler und ein 3.3V LDO.

Über das Modbus Protokoll lässt sich die Geräteadresse (1-255) setzen, sodass man bis zu 255 Geräte mit einem Tranceiver betreiben kann.
Man kann das Modul ruhig aufschrauben, innen befinden sich Jumper, welche je nach Variante gesetzt sind oder beliegen.
Mit diesen Jumpern wird gesteuert, ob Spannung oder Strom gemessen werden soll.

Für den Preis definitiv empfehlenswert.
