The DFRobot Gravity: HUSKYLENS with Silicone Case is an edge AI vision recognition sensor module for embedded and robotics applications. It combines a camera unit, onboard AI processing, and a 2.0 inch IPS display in a compact assembly. Through the Gravity UART/I2C interface, it can be connected to common host platforms such as Arduino, micro:bit, Raspberry Pi, and LattePanda.
HUSKYLENS is intended for typical machine vision tasks without requiring external image processing. Functions stated in the source material include face recognition, object tracking, object recognition, line tracking, color recognition, and tag or QR code recognition. Operation is handled directly on the module by buttons, allowing algorithm switching and learning steps without a PC. The integrated display supports direct monitoring of image output and recognition status during setup and use.
The module uses a specialized AI processor from the Kendryte K210 family. With built-in machine learning capability, it can locally learn and recognize faces and objects.
