The Grove - SCD41 is a compact yet powerful 3-in-1 environmental sensor for CO2, Humidity and Temperature measurement. Based on Sensirion SCD41, the photoacoustic NDIR sensor technology enables high accuracy and wide measurement range. Its miniture size, large supply voltage, high robustness and adjustable power consumption allow it to perfectly integrate into a variety of environmental monitoring applications such as Smart Ventilation System.

CO2 is a key indicator for indoor air quality as high levels compromise humans’ cognitive low power and well-being. The Grove - CO2 & Temperature & Humidity Sensor - SCD41 enables smart ventilation systems to regulate ventilation in the most energy-efficient and human-friendly way. Moreover, indoor air quality monitors and other connected devices based on the SCD41 can help maintain low CO2 concentrations and comfortable Temperature & Humidity for a healthy, productive environment.

What is PASens® Technology?

PASens® Technology is based on the photoacoustic sensing principle. The photoacoustic sensing principle allows extreme miniaturization of the CO2 sensor without compromising sensor performance due to the fact that the sensor sensitivity is independent of the optical cavity size. The reduced size and the smaller number of integrated components result in a highly price-efficient BOM structure. Thanks to the miniaturizing and economical BOM structure of these new CO2 sensors, the SCD4x will open up numerous possibilities for a whole new set of products and applications.
