Dieses Sensormodul verfügt über 8 IR-LED/Fototransistorpaare, die im Raster von 0,375" montiert sind, was es zu einem großartigen Detektor für einen Roboter macht, der der Linie folgt. LED-Paare sind in Reihe geschaltet, um die Stromaufnahme zu halbieren, und ein MOSFET ermöglicht das Ausschalten der LEDs für zusätzliche Abtast- oder Energiesparoptionen. Jeder Sensor verfügt über einen separaten digitalen I/O-meßbaren Ausgang.
