Product Description

This compact carrier board makes it easy to integrate a Sharp GP2Y0A60SZLF analog distance sensor (not included) into your project by providing all of the required external components and a 0.1?-pitch, four-pin interface to the sensor. This version of the carrier board is configured for 5V mode.

Overview

The GP2Y0A60SZLF analog distance sensor from Sharp is small and affordable, making it an attractive alternative to sonar rangefinders, while its wide sensing range (10 cm to 150 cm) and resistance to interference from ambient IR set it apart from other IR distance sensors.

However, this sensor requires external components and has a non-standard 1.5 mm pitch, which can make it difficult to integrate into projects based on a 0.1? pitch. This carrier board includes these components and provides a 0.1?-pitch, four-pin interface: ground, power, output, and enable. Two versions are available, one configured for 5V mode and one configured for 3V mode.

Note: this product requires a Sharp GP2Y0A60SZLF sensor module (not included). We also offer the two versions of this board assembled with a GP2Y0A60SZLF: 5V version with sensor and 3V version with sensor.
