The Pololu D42V110F7 voltage regulator module 5674 is a synchronous switching step-down regulator designed to generate a fixed 7.5 V output from higher DC input voltages. It is part of the D42V110Fx family of buck regulators and is specified for input voltages up to 60 V. Compared with linear regulators, the switching topology provides higher efficiency, especially when the difference between input and output voltage is large.
