The CardKB Mini Keyboard Programmable Unit V1.1 (MEGA8A) is a compact programmable keyboard unit from M5Stack in a card-sized format. It provides a 50-key QWERTY PCB matrix keyboard and uses an ATMega8A as the encoding MCU. Host communication is handled over I2C with the default device address 0x5F.
This unit is intended as an input peripheral for M5Stack systems and connects through a HY2.0-4P/Grove interface. One onboard RGB LED is used for keyboard status indication. With dimensions of 88.0 x 54.0 x 5.0 mm, the module fits compact control, setup, and service applications.
