The M5Stack PaHub v2.1 is a compact I2C multiplexer hub module designed to expand a single I2C interface into six separate channels. This U040-B-V21 variant uses the PCA9548AP multiplexer IC and is intended for systems where multiple I2C devices need to be connected to one host.
By switching between channels, the module allows devices with identical or different I2C addresses to coexist on the same bus. An onboard DIP switch provides address selection in the range from 0x70 to 0x77. This enables cascading of multiple PaHub v2.1 units when additional I2C expansion capacity is required.
