Overview

This module enables you to wirelessly connect your microcontroller to a large number of devices via Bluetooth and exchange serial data. As a slave module, PCs, mobile phones (Android (from 4.3), Windows Mobile and ALSO APPLE without an additional chip!) can use serial connections to a microcontroller, e.g. Arduino. Communication is two-way, so you can send and receive. The HM10 is Bluetooth 4.0 (low energy) compatible and accordingly has a relatively low power consumption. It can simply be connected to the RX and TX pins of your 3V3 logic level microcontroller and convert the otherwise required serial connection into a radio connection. You can then "pair" your devices with the module and with the encryption and the pin your connection is protected. The parameters are set using AT commands from the microcontroller. You can, for example, change the transmission speed, the PIN, the mode, but also the name of the module, which becomes visible when connecting. The Texas Instruments CC2541 used allows the transmission power to be adjusted via AT commands.

Funktioniert einfach

Ich hätte nicht gedacht dass es so einfach ist Daten zwischen iPhone und Arduino auszutauschen. Mit vorhandener Library und einem Tutorial aus dem Internet war die Sache schnell programmiert.
