Product Description

The Fermion: Compact 10DOF IMU Sensor for Motion, Heading & Pressure Sensing (24×19mm, I2C, Breakout) combines the Bosch BMI323, BMM350 and BMP581 on a compact breakout board. It provides acceleration, angular velocity, magnetic field and barometric pressure data for embedded systems, robotics, portable data loggers and custom sensor-fusion algorithms. Direct access to the individual sensors makes the module suitable for evaluation and product integration where configuration, calibration and signal processing are handled at application level.

The BMI323 outputs 16-bit acceleration and gyroscope data with selectable accelerometer ranges from ±2 g to ±16 g and data rates up to 6400 Hz. The BMM350 adds 3-axis magnetic sensing up to ±2000 µT with selectable output rates up to 400 Hz. For pressure and altitude-related measurements, the BMP581 covers 30 to 125 kPa and supports output rates from 0.125 to 240 Hz. Typical current consumption is 1.12 mA in low-power operation.
