The Waveshare PCIe TO ETH M.2 HAT+ is an SBC PCIe storage adapter HAT designed for Raspberry Pi 5. The PCIe TO ETH M.2 HAT+ variant combines an M.2 interface for NVMe SSD storage with Ethernet connectivity on a compact add-on board for the host SBC.
The module supports M.2 SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 form factors and uses the NVMe protocol. The specified data rate is up to 5Gbps. This makes the board suitable for storage expansion and network-connected embedded applications based on Raspberry Pi 5 where compact integration and standardized interfaces are required.
