The DFRobot ESP8266 WiFi Bee for Arduino UNO / Leonardo TEL0092 is a compact WiFi IoT module in XBee form factor for adding wireless connectivity to compatible controller platforms. It is intended for use with Arduino UNO and Leonardo and fits corresponding XBee sockets on DF series expansion boards. This allows serial WiFi connectivity to be integrated into existing systems without extensive point-to-point wiring.
The module is based on the ESP8266 and includes an embedded 32-bit processor. It supports AP, STA, and AP+STA operating modes and can be configured using AT commands. An Arduino ESP8266 library is also available to simplify software integration into established development environments.
