Product Description

The DFRobot Gravity: CAT1 SIM7600G Global 4G Communication and GNSS Positioning Module (10Mbps/5Mbps) is an integrated cellular modem module for wireless data communication and positioning. Based on the SIM7600G, it supports 4G CAT1 with up to 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink. GNSS positioning is also available with GPS, BeiDou, and GLONASS support.

The module is intended for use with single-board computers and embedded platforms, including Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and LattePanda. It can be integrated via UART or USB, either as a communication module or as a 4G network interface for existing systems. Support for common operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Android simplifies deployment in development and industrial environments.

In addition to cellular connectivity, the module supports a range of network protocols including TCP/IP, IPv4, Multi-PDP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, and DNS. Communication is handled through AT commands, allowing network functions to be implemented without developing the lower protocol layers directly. The module also includes microphone and audio power amplifier circuitry, enabling data transmission, voice calling, and SMS functionality in one hardware platform.
