The Waveshare 16766 is an e-paper display module in a 7.8 inch format with 1872 × 1404 pixel resolution and an integrated IT8951 controller. This black-and-white reflective panel operates without a backlight and retains the last displayed image even when power is removed. The active display area is 158.184 × 118.638 mm, while the module outline measures 173.8 × 127.6 × 0.78 mm. Host connectivity is provided through USB, SPI, and I80, allowing integration with Raspberry Pi through the 40-pin GPIO header as well as other embedded platforms such as STM32 or Nucleo-based systems.

The module operates from a 5 V supply. The panel supports 2 to 16 grayscale levels with 1 to 4 bit driving and provides a viewing angle greater than 170°. With a dot pitch of 0.0845 × 0.0845 mm, the resulting pixel density is approximately 300 ppi. According to the source data, typical power consumption is 1.2 W during refresh and 0.1 W in standby. Super Display

Sehr hohe Auflösung, schnelle Schaltzeit, schönen Darstellung!
Und das super schnell geliefert!
Nutze es mit einen Raspberry Pi Zero W. Wird wohl nicht mein letztes sein! :-)

Einfach zu programmieren aber sehr empfindlich

Das Display ist superfein aufgelöst mit 16 Graustufen und hat eine sehr schnelle refresh rate. Partieller update macht die experience noch besser (nur ein zu updatender Teilbereich flackert dann ganz kurz). Es ist aber extreme vorsichtig geboten, es ist sehr dünn und aus Glass.
Leider über SPI auf dem raspberry war es mir nicht möglich es anzusteuern, es ging aber mit SCSI /dev/sda über eines der beiden USB3 port.
