Product Description

The DFRobot Fermion: MPU-6050 6 DOF Sensor (Breakout) is a compact IMU/AHRS sensor module based on the MPU-6050. It integrates a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer on a single chip and provides measurement data through an I2C interface. The breakout board also includes a low-noise 3.3 V regulator and pull-up resistors for the I2C bus.

This module is intended for applications requiring motion, tilt, and orientation sensing. The integrated Digital Motion Processor (DMP) supports processing of complex motion data. According to the supplier information, suitable software libraries can provide pitch, roll, yaw, quaternion, and Euler data. Through an auxiliary master I2C bus, the device can also access external magnetometers or other sensors.
