Product Description

The DFRobot Fermion: BNO055 Intelligent 9-axis Sensor (Breakout) is a compact IMU/AHRS sensor based on the BNO055. The device integrates a triaxial 14-bit accelerometer, a triaxial 16-bit gyroscope, a triaxial geomagnetic sensor, and a 32-bit microcontroller in a single system-in-package. This allows the module to provide both raw sensor outputs and processed orientation data.

With integrated sensor fusion, the module can output quaternions, Euler angles, and vector data directly. This reduces processing requirements on the host controller and simplifies orientation and motion sensing in embedded designs. The breakout board supports a supply voltage range of 3.3 V to 5.5 V and provides I2C with 5 V support as well as SPI on non-I2C ports with 3.3 V logic.
