Product Description

This gearmotor is a miniature medium-power, 6 V brushed DC motor with a 986.41:1 metal gearbox, making it a great choice for applications requiring fine control at very low speeds. It has a cross section of 10 × 12 mm, and the D-shaped gearbox output shaft is 9 mm long and 3 mm in diameter. (Note: stall torque and current specifications are theoretical values; stalling the motor will damage the gearbox.)

Exact gear ratio: 25×34×35×34×34×34×27 / 12×9×12×14×14×14×9 ≈ 986.41:1

Key specifications:

voltage: 6 V
no-load performance: 22 RPM, 70 mA
stall extrapolation: 6.7 kg⋅cm (93 oz⋅in), 0.67 A

Dimensions

Size: 10 × 12 × 29.5 mm (Output shaft adds 9 mm to the 29.5 mm length)
Weight: 10.5 g
Shaft diameter: 3 mm (D shaft)

General specifications

Gear ratio: 986.41:1
No-load speed @ 6V: 22 rpm (Typical; ±20%)
No-load current @ 6V: 0.07 A (Typical, ±50%; no-load current depends on internal friction, which is affected by many factors, including ambient temperature and duration of motor operation)
Stall current @ 6V: 0.67 A (This is a theoretical value; stalling the gearbox output shaft will damage the gearbox.)
Stall torque @ 6V: 6.7 kg·cm (This is a theoretical value; stalling the gearbox output shaft will damage the gearbox.)
Extended motor shaft?: N
Motor type: 0.67A stall @ 6V (MP 6V)

Performance at maximum efficiency

Max efficiency @ 6V: 24 %
Speed at max efficiency: 17 rpm
Torque at max efficiency: 1.3 kg·cm
Current at max efficiency: 0.16 A
Output power at max efficiency: 0.23 W
