The DFRobot Gravity: Offline Edge AI Gesture & Face Detection Sensor is a compact edge AI vision recognition sensor module for touchless human-machine interaction and local presence detection. Its integrated camera and onboard AI processor perform recognition directly on the module, eliminating the need for cloud-based processing. This makes it suitable for applications requiring responsive operation and privacy-focused local data handling.

The module recognizes 5 predefined hand gestures and can detect up to 10 faces or upper-body presences simultaneously within a range of up to 3 m. Dual I2C and UART interfaces simplify integration with microcontroller and embedded platforms.
