Product Description

Gravity: 10DOF IMU Sensor for Motion, Heading & Altitude Changes is an IMU/AHRS sensor module from DFRobot built around the Bosch BMI323, BMM350 and BMP581 devices. It provides 3-axis acceleration, 3-axis angular velocity, 3-axis magnetic field and barometric pressure data in a single module. This combination supports motion analysis, heading determination and pressure-based altitude change detection in embedded, robotics and evaluation setups.

An onboard MCU aggregates the sensor data and exposes it through I2C or UART. The module is compatible with 3.3 V to 5 V systems, which simplifies integration with common microcontroller and prototyping platforms. According to the supplier information, one integrated library is provided to reduce software bring-up effort compared with handling the three sensor ICs separately.

The BMI323 delivers 16-bit accelerometer and gyroscope data with selectable accelerometer ranges from ±2 g to ±16 g and output data rates up to 6400 Hz. The BMM350 adds 3-axis magnetic sensing up to ±2000 µT with output data rates up to 400 Hz. The BMP581 measures 30 to 125 kPa and supplies high-resolution pressure data for detecting floor changes, ramp transitions and other vertical movement patterns.
