IR / motion detector / hall effect sensor

An infrared (IR) sensor is an electronic device that measures and detects infrared radiation in its surrounding environment

Active ultrasonic sensors emit ultrasonic sound waves at a frequency above the range of human hearing. These waves bounce off objects in the immediate vicinity and return to the motion sensor.

Using semiconductors (such as silicon), Hall effect sensors work by measuring the changing voltage when the device is placed in a magnetic field.
