Fibocom FM101-EAU-20 is an LTE Advanced Category 6 wireless communication module which supports LTE-TDD/LTE-FDD network and WCDMA fallback. Featuring 3GPP Release 12 standard, the module delivers maximum downlink rates of 300Mbps and uplink rates of 50Mbps under LTE, ideally suitable for IoT applications that require high data throughput.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon® X12+ LTE Modem, the Fibocom FM101-EAU-20 module adopts M.2 form factor measuring 30.0mm x 42.0mm x 2.3mm. It is compatible with Fibocom’s LTE Cat 4 module NL668 modules series, enabling customers to migrate from LTE to LTE-A and eliminating investment concerns. The module also supports multi-constellation GNSS receiver (GPS/ Galileo/ GLONASS/ BeiDou), which provides high-performance positioning and navigation while greatly simplifies product design. Meanwhile, it supports a rich set of interfaces including UIM, USB 3.0/2.0, PCIe 2.0, I2S and UART, allowing much flexibility and ease of integration for customer's application.
With multiple Internet protocols and industry-standard interfaces for main operating systems (such as USB and PCIe drivers for Windows, Linux and Android), FM101-EAU-20 can be used a variety of cellular terminals such as CPE, STB, IPC, ODU and PDA, extending the applicability to a wide range of eMBB application scenarios such as Industrial IoT, Smart Cities, C-V2X, etc. The module is able to cover mobile network in Europe, Asia and Australia.
